Wireless Radar Raymarine CHIRP Quantum ™
The Quantum Raymarine radar, made by FLIR, represents the next generation of marine radar with pulse compression of CHIRP technology.
The Quantum radar sets a new standard for compact radar solid state and provides a higher-level imaging, both long and very short radius. The integrated Wi-Fi and the lower section cable simplify installation, while the new design, the lighter weight and more energy efficient, reduces the benefit of the security issues and allows a greatly reduced power consumption.
Superior imaging radar
The unique technology of separating the ATX ™ FLIR target displays target as boats, landmarks, rocks, buoys and meteorological cells offering a resolution and quality unrivaled separation.
Quantum 1 Radar 2 Radar traditional magnetron
CHIRP pulse compression
Excellent detection and short-range targets with greater detail of a shadow of only 6 m
Compression of CHIRP pulse allows to concentrate a greater amount of energy on each target, providing superior image quality at greater distances
Detection of small targets
The Quantum CHIRP pulse compression technology identifies small targets, barely visible, even when placed near strong echoes.
1 Quantum detects the small kayaks also close to the mass of the embankment
immediate view
The solid state technology Quantum is ready for use within seconds, without any long start-up period.
simplified installation
Simple Wi-Fi connection between Quantum and all equipped with Raymarine multifunction displays LightHouse II
The small diameter of the Quantum power cable allows installation in limited spaces
Easy to upgrade - The Quantum screws are arranged as in the previous generation radar. The Quantum cable optional adapter eliminates the need to make the switch to new cables
Lightweight design energy-efficient
It weighs 50% less than conventional magnetron radar
Safe emissions thanks to solid-state radar transmitter at a reduced power consumption of Quantum
very low power consumption (17 watts in transmission and 7 watts in standby)
Longer life of the boat's battery while sailing
