The USG-2 interface is a safe and reliable device for connecting a PC to your NMEA 0183 network.

USG-2 converts the USB port into a bidirectional serial port for connection to the standard NMEA0183 marine bus.

It provides a much more secure connection than any standard USB to serial converter.
Electrical isolation is ensured by the ISO-Drive™ output and OPTO-isolated input offering easy installation and free from ground loop problems.
The input uses Actisense OPTO-isolated circuitry to protect all connected equipment from the most common system failures.
The input can also receive very low signals that are often too small to be received by the PC's serial port.
USG-2 is the most secure solution for connecting navigation network data to the on-board PC.
