The B285M's mid-frequency transducer offers the right combination of under-boat coverage, extended depth range, and the ability to produce clean, accurate target and structure returns in medium to deep water. The mid-frequency transducer also provides excellent shallow to mid-depth performance, bottom detail, and fish target separation. Operating at a frequency range of 85 to 135 kHz, this transducer detects fish at medium depths up to 1,500 feet (457 m) and provides ultra-sharp target resolution.
This model is also ideal for single-channel sonar applications where operating in Chirp mode offers a greater ability to see what's in the water column. Simply create presets for 85 and 135 kHz and switch between wide and narrow beams to scan an area and locate structure.
The included high-performance fairing improves broadband performance at speeds above 30 knots.
