Designed to let you move freely on board and navigate with confidence, the Garmin OnBoard system uses wireless tags instead of traditional kill cords, integrating with your compatible Garmin chartplotter.
TAGS CAN BE WORN ON THE WRIST, ATTACHED TO A CARABINER OR ON A FLOATING KEYCHAIN
TAGS ARE ASSIGNED EITHER AS COMMANDER OR AS CREW/GUEST

TAG COMMANDER
Commander MOB detection will trigger engine shutdown, a MOB waypoint on the chartplotter, and an audible alarm on the MFDs and Hub.
WIRELESS: NO CABLES CONNECTED INTO THE CONSOLE
Wearable MOB tags are part of a wireless MOB system, allowing you to move freely on board.
CREW TAG
Crew MOB detection activates a MOB waypoint on MFDs plus an audible alarm on MFDs and the hub.
ENGINE SHUTDOWN SYSTEM
If a Commander tag activates a MOB, the system cuts power to the engines, allowing the Commander to return to the vessel.
CAPTAIN OR PASSENGER TAG
Using the Garmin chartplotter interface, you can assign each tag as either Captain or Passenger, changing the MOB action.
WAYPOINT
When paired with a compatible Garmin chartplotter, a waypoint is marked at the location where the MOB tag lost connection to the vessel.
