The IC-F29SR2 is an extremely versatile analog UHF PMR446 handheld transceiver.
The radio's few controls make it simple to use and ideal for high-turnover work environments where the radio is constantly passed from person to person. Compliant with the MIL-STD-810G standard and with an IP67 rating, the IC-F29SR2 has been designed for the most extreme uses.

The latest generation 1500mW internal speaker ensures clear communications and excellent audio, even in very noisy environments.

The integrated Vox function allows you to communicate without having to press the PTT button and therefore operate hands-free, while the standard Voice Scrabler guarantees maximum confidentiality of communications.

Other key features include three programmable keys, low battery warning, programmable CTCSS and DTCS tones, Call Ring to send call alerts, and Smart Ring to check and alert you if the handset is within range of the radio.
