Simplified flush mounting
The car stereo features an MFD-style mounting system for a sleek installation. Simply screw the car stereo directly into place, and snap-on covers conceal all mounting hardware for a clean finish. This mounting method is ideal for side-mounted installations on hardtops or center consoles.
Three display modes for comfortable use
The first color display in its class. The wide viewing angle and bright screen ensure exceptional readability in any environment. Choose between Light mode, Dark mode, or Night mode: whether in direct sunlight or complete darkness, the display remains clearly visible. Easily switch from Day mode to Night mode with a single touch. Backlit keys ensure safe use even in the dark.
Flexible system integration
The radio offers plug-and-play installation via NMEA 2000 and also supports NMEA 0183-HS networking, allowing data sharing between the radio and other marine electronics. Compatible with the Icom MA-510TR, it allows you to transmit an individual DSC call to a selected AIS target.
Remote Microphone Installation Options
The included handheld microphone can be mounted directly on the front panel or on the rear using the OPC-1000 extension cable*. For dual-user configurations, the CommandMic™* provides full remote control from a second station (up to 60 ft. extension cable) and supports intercom functionality between stations. Ideal for sailboat installations requiring a second control station on the bridge. A 90° L-adapter* is a useful accessory that helps prevent damage to the connectors.
Integrated GPS (GNSS) antenna
The IC-M430E features a built-in GNSS receiver with an internal antenna. For installations where satellite reception is limited, such as inside a cabin or in an enclosed area, an optional external GNSS antenna, the UX-241, is available .
