Ideal for powersports, marine applications and off-road vehicles, these closed-back speaker systems feature our high-performance M3 6.5-inch marine coaxial speakers with silk dome tweeters housed in rugged injection-molded enclosures to deliver clean, loud audio.
A rotating clamp receiver is included with each VEX™ pod to pair with an appropriate mounting fixture (sold separately) for mounting on a flat surface, roll cage, or tower structure, allowing for precise aiming for optimal sound. Pipe mount fixtures (sold separately) are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate a wide range of pipe diameters.
A weather-resistant Lexan™ logo application finishes the back of each pod, which can be oriented to fit any mounting location. For your convenience, three meters of our 16AWG marine-grade, parallel-conductor speaker cable are included with each VEX™ pod.
While VEX™ pods can be operated with a minimum of 20W per channel, we recommend powering these systems with an amplifier capable of delivering 60-120W of continuous power per channel. For best results, use with a subwoofer.
Like all JL Audio marine speakers, this system is weatherproof and built to provide years of listening enjoyment.
