With exciting new design features, the Scanstrut Helm Pod is the perfect choice for all multifunction display configurations to be installed on tube helms.
With options to fit standard radar, chartplotter, and navigation instrument displays, the choice is yours!
FOR STANDARD DISPLAYS AND INSTRUMENTS:

• Can accommodate 3 or 4 standard instruments (e.g. ST60)

CHARACTERISTICS: UNIVERSAL RUDDER MOUNTING
Fits tracks from 25mm to 33.7mm (0.98" - 1.33") in diameter. Using a unique locking system, Deep Pods can accommodate track widths from 178mm (7") upwards.*
SAFE AND WATERPROOF INSTALLATION
The saddle system supports the stainless steel tube which allows for a secure and rigid fit on any pedestal and also ensures a watertight seal at the cable entry.
DRILL-FREE FIXING KIT
Custom U-bolts fit over the rail and through the saddles at the rear of the capsule, eliminating the need for cumbersome and time-consuming drilling of the stainless rail.
SIMPLE INSTALLATION AND ASSISTANCE
The fasteners fit from back to front by clipping their threads into injection-molded ABS inserts designed into the front of the pod. This design allows for quick and secure installation and repeated maintenance.
INCREASED PROTECTION
The pod seal is made of high-tear-resistant silicone, has very high heat and UV resistance, so you can be sure it won't deteriorate over time.
SUPPLIED UNCUT
As standard, you'll receive your Scanpod uncut. For larger orders, a factory-cutting service is available.

*Please note that the 8" Compact Pod fits 6" to 8" centers and the 12" Compact Pod fits 6" to 11" centers. This is a smaller range of pedestal track widths than the Deep Helm Pod - please confirm on the technical information page or call a Scanstrut representative if you are unsure.
