VHF ANTENNA Shakespeare VTR 1,5MT NYLON RING WITH NYLON BASE

Experienced sailors and power boaters alike realize that even the most expensive radio will malfunction with a second-rate antenna that saves money upfront but jeopardizes the ability to communicate when you need it most. That's why they prefer the quality, performance and reliability of V-Tronix ™ marine antennas.
From the largest seagoing vessels to the smallest RIBs, our antennas have operated under the worst marine conditions for years, always at their peak design capabilities. Note: V-Tronix ™ antennas are only available to customers in Europe.

VHF marine radios, with quality Shakespeare® antennas, are affordable and a prime need on most boats. VHF equipment is installed on all large ships and most small sea vessels and is also used on rivers and lakes. The VHF radio frequency range is 156.0 to 162.025 MHz. Transmitting power between 1 and 25 watts, with an effective range for small boats of approximately 5 nautical miles (9 km; 6 mi) between antennas.
