The Nightwave Digital features a revolutionary Black Silicon CMOS sensor with a high-definition resolution of 1280 x 1024, capturing detailed images at illumination levels as low as 0.001 lux, allowing for clear visibility even in moonless starlight conditions. The 16mm F/1.4 all-glass lens with a 44° horizontal field of view provides wide coverage while maintaining sharp image quality from 10 meters to ∞.
Built around Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, the system operates with a nominal power consumption of only 5W, while offering 30 fps video output in H.264 format with video recording capabilities. Digital night vision technology processes the visible light spectrum from 400 to 1200 nm, including infrared light detection, without requiring the traditional image intensifier tubes found in analog devices.
Advanced CMOS sensor technology eliminates blooming and distortion typical of night vision devices, while automatic day/night mode switching optimizes performance in all lighting conditions. The marine-grade, UV-resistant polycarbonate body withstands 20G vertical shock, 10G horizontal vibration, and wind speeds up to 100 km/h, with an IP67 water resistance rating ensuring reliable operation in harsh marine environments.
