Integrated GPS and AIS receivers A dual-channel AIS receiver monitors the position of nearby AIS-equipped vessels, helping to avoid potential collisions in crowded harbors and inland waterways. AIS information can be viewed on the V60 radio's built-in screen or overlaid on charts or radar screens using a compatible multifunction display. A built-in GPS receiver ensures the position of your vessel or yacht can be sent during DSC distress calls, even if other electronic equipment on board is disabled.
Removable ergonomic grip microphone The V60 radio's removable microphone can be connected to the front or rear of the radio, while optional extension cables allow the radio and microphone to be mounted separately. This provides a simple and cost-effective solution for any installation location, eliminating cable clutter. For example, the V60 radio can be suspended, with no trailing cables, while the microphone is connected to an extension socket on the dashboard.
Expandable with wireless handset Add an optional wireless handset to take your radio anywhere on the boat. The HS60 handset is designed as an intuitive portable companion to the V60 radio. Each handset duplicates the radio's display and controls, allowing remote access to all key functions. Up to two wireless handsets can be connected to a single base station. With multiple handsets connected, the V60 radio also becomes a convenient onboard intercom.
