FURUNO NAVPILOT-300 AUTOPILOT
The NAVPILOT300 completes the Furuno autopilot range with a more compact model that does not require an RRU (Rudder Reference Unit), designed primarily for small outboard-powered boats up to 40 feet. The main new feature of the NAVPILOT300 is the GC-001 Bluetooth remote control with "Gesture Control." The GC-001 is very simple and intuitive to operate, combining the convenience of wireless remote control with the most advanced Furuno technology. Simply press a button and with a wave of your hand you can direct the boat in the desired direction. The NAVPILOT300 still guarantees the main functions provided by a traditional autopilot: Auto and NAV modes, SABIKI™ and FishHunter™. The latter two are particularly popular among sport fishing. Installation of the NAVPILOT300 autopilot has been greatly simplified thanks to the connectorized cables that come with the processor.
REMOTE CONTROL WITH "GESTURE" FUNCTION
The GC-001 remote control is the main new feature of the NAVPILOT300 autopilot. It is a Bluetooth controller that connects to the autopilot control unit, ensuring full functionality. The central "G" button activates "Gesture Control" mode. This allows you to hold the remote control and steer the vessel in the desired direction with a simple "POINT & SHOOT" hand gesture. This will activate the autopilot to track the indicated course based on the remote control's positioning. The NAVPILOT300 also features buttons for port-starboard course changes in 1- or 10-degree increments, and for selecting Auto Mode and Nav Mode. The remote control has a maximum operating distance of 10 meters from the processor. This revolutionary feature was designed and perfected by Furuno for the sport fishing market, where convenience and ease of use are paramount.
FANTUM FEEDBACK CONFIGURATION
FANTUM Feedback is a FURUNO technology that simplifies autopilot installation by eliminating the need for a rudder reference unit (rudder angle). This software process uses the vessel's position and heading data to calculate the rudder angle, and it works differently than traditional rudder compensation. This configuration is only available for vessels with outboard engines.
DISPLAY MODE
The 4.1" color LCD display is very simple and easy to read. It features QVGA resolution (320 x 240) with 700 cd/m2 brightness. There are 7 buttons on the bottom that allow you to access the different operating modes, STBY-AUTO activation and starboard-port course correction.
OTHER FEATURES
In addition to being equipped with the classic autopilot modes Auto (maintaining a specific heading) and NAV Mode (navigation to a waypoint or route), the NAVPILOT300 also includes the SABIKI and FishHunter functions. SABIKI is ideal for fishing techniques that require the vessel to remain in a specific position or heading. FishHunterTM mode, on the other hand, features pre-programmed routes that can be selected via software.
SIMPLE INSTALLATION
The NAVPILOT300 has also been significantly simplified in terms of external connections. The power supply, the NMEA2000 line (display and any other peripherals), and the power supply for the power section are always supplied with pre-connected cables exiting from the processor.
