Furuno PG-700 Compass Sensor

Fluxgate magnetic sensor with stability enhanced by a solid-state gyroscope

The PG-700 is a speed-compensated heading sensor that incorporates innovative electromagnetic compass technology for highly accurate and stable readings of your vessel's course. These sophisticated components are housed in a rugged, compact enclosure.
Unique design elements make the PG-700 virtually maintenance-free and easy to install.
The PG-700 direction sensor detects terrestrial magnetism and produces compass data that can be used in the CAN bus network.
