Garmin Rudder Angle Sensor (Feedback)


Pair the sensor with the GHP 12™ to get rudder position data and to detect and prevent rudder lockouts while boating or sailing.

The GRF 10 uses a magnetic sensor to transmit position information, eliminating friction, the main cause of wear in other types of sensors. The GRF 10's arm is connected to the vessel's rudder and transmits position information to sailors through the sensor, ensuring they always know the rudder's position. It therefore offers valuable assistance when departing from a stationary, docked, or launching position, or when traveling at low speed.

Furthermore, the GRF 10 allows you to:
Know the rudder position without having to look back
Perform maneuvers more easily and avoid overcompensation
Reduce wear and tear on the autopilot system by avoiding forcing the rudder when it is already parked to port or starboard.

D Buona sera, sto valutando l installazione del sensore GRF 10 sul mio sistema aitopilota Reactor 40 compact. Da quanto ho capito il GRF va collegato sulla ECU lì dove però ora è collegato il cavo feedback della pompa idraulica? E se così fosse il cavo della pompa rimane scollegato? R Buongiorno, purtroppo no, perchè questo sensore è adatto solamente per essere collegato agli autopiloti Garmin. Le servirebbe un sensore feedback NMEA 2000 l'unica azienda che li produce è Simrad/B&G. Potremmo effettuare un test per vedere se è compatibile con il 721xs. Cordiali saluti. Luigi Bianchi
