Garmin echo module Chirp GSD 25 1kw
Sonar module with CHIRP technology Compatible with the GPSMAP 8000 and 7400 series
Dual channel 1 kW CHIRP module
Integrated SideVü and DownVü technology for sharp and detailed images
The GSD 25 sonar module, connected to the Garmin Marin Network, provides excellent reproduction of the bottom and fish. It is equipped with CHIRP technology with DownVü and SideVü functions. Images sent to Garmin GPSMAP 8000 and 7400 series chartplotters provide detailed, high-resolution images of what is below and to the sides of the boat.
CHIRP technology CHIRP stands for Compressed High-Intensity Radiated Pulse (high frequency compression in an electromagnetic signal) and represents the evolution in the field of sport and professional fishing technology. GSD 25 ensures unmatched bottom and fish identification compared to traditional fishfinders. The CHIRP technology performs simultaneous scans of high and low frequencies which, depending on the transducer connected, can go from 28 kHz up to a maximum of 210 kHz with the relative change of the reading cone.
The CHIRP technology, integrated into the GSD 25 sonar module, uses a transducer with HD-ID ™ sonar technology in addition to DownVü and SideVü functionality. The transducer is sold separately.
