Garmin GT17M-THF 1 KW Thru-Hull Steel Transducer
LESS TIME SEARCHING, MORE TIME FISHING
Designed to reduce drag and optimize performance on mid-sized fishing and cruising vessels, this flush-mount 1kW mid-band CHIRP transducer (80-165 kHz) delivers crisp fish arches, structure and bottom depth information on your screen.
Performance up to 730 meters in fresh water.
Access the CHIRP sonar frequency range from 80 to 165 kHz.
It scans the seabed with a beam width between 9 and 18 degrees.
Fast response water temperature sensing.
The thru-hull transducer design allows for flush installation with 0, 12, or 20 degrees of tilt.
The automatic identification function allows for simplified plug-and-play operation.

TRADITIONAL MID-BAND CHIRP FISHFINDER
This 1kW 8-pin stainless steel thru-hull transducer features high-definition mid-band CHIRP sonar for a crisp image of fish and targets up to 1,800 feet in saltwater and 2,400 feet in freshwater.
WIDE FREQUENCY RANGE
Adjust the frequency based on the waters you fish. With a medium frequency range, this transducer ranges from 80 to 165 kHz, providing a wide coverage area, clear fish arches, and accurate depth readings.
OPTIMAL PING SENSITIVITY
With excellent sonar sensitivity, low noise, high resolution and excellent target separation, this rugged transducer makes it easier than ever to distinguish fish and structure on the screen of your compatible chartplotter.
THROUGH-THROUGH INSTALLATION
The rugged stainless steel housing and stem provide a flush-mount mount for minimal resistance and optimal beam alignment for clear sonar returns.
AUTOMATIC IDENTIFICATION TECHNOLOGY
Thanks to Garmin Auto Identification technology, the fishfinder can be automatically configured based on the transducer used.
COMPATIBILITY WITH VARIOUS TYPES OF HULLS
Configurable for a wide range of hull materials, including fiberglass, composite, steel, aluminum and wood, the transducer is available in a range of tilt versions with angles from 0 to 24 degrees without a fairing lock.
