The OMNI-496 is a dual-band omnidirectional Wi-Fi antenna developed by Poynting Antennas. The antenna can connect to any Wi-Fi access point, whether it's a router or a router. The antenna can overcome channel saturation and provide the ultimate in Wi-Fi performance and flexibility. The OMNI-496 is an IP68 marine version of its urban, industrial, and commercial counterpart, the OMNI-296. The antenna operates in two frequency bands, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, offering excellent spectrum utilization. The antenna has a maximum gain of 6 dBi in the 2.4 GHz band and 7.5 dBi in the 5 GHz band, offering the best performance with reliable connections. The antenna has a female N-type connector at its base that can be terminated with a cable of the desired type and length.

D Buongiorno, a bordo ho un router PEPWAVE Max Transit Ltea e vorrei sapere se l’antenna in oggetto è compatibile con il router e che tipo di cavo devo acquistare e relativi attacchi. Più o meno fino a che distanza dalla costa funziona? Grazie.

R Buongiorno, Per servire il suo max transit duo (due modem LTE ) con 4 prese sma occorre il modello 402 link sotto: https://www.painestore.it/poynting_omni402 In aggiunta per la funzione wifi potrebbe integrare con la 496 . La portata del segnale LTE è teoricamente di 10-15 miglia degradando la velocità in proporzione alla distanza dalla costa .Ho effettuato connessioni per scambio di email fino a 25 miglia . Per la funzione WIFI per collegare i sistemi dei Marina consideri 500-600 metri Cordiali saluti Marco
