The EV-2 is designed for the latest wired steering systems. The intelligent EV Sensor Core, a 9-axis sensor that monitors the vessel's motion in all three dimensions, is a true EV sensor. The innovative EV Sensor Core combines advanced solid-state sensors with the Evolution autopilot processor in a single, easy-to-install housing. The EV Sensor Core can be mounted above or below deck; the rugged enclosure is completely sealed and built to IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof and submersible standards. Solid-state sensor technology provides dynamic accuracy of up to 2 degrees in all conditions. Automatic compensation for onboard magnetic fields and reliable heading accuracy in extreme north and south directions. Fast, reliable heading data for MARPA, radar overlay, and heading modes on Raymarine multifunction displays.
