Using the
ECI-100 , you can now connect with all Caterpillar Engine installations that include engine displays, color MPD, MPD or mini MPD.
This allows you to view the following engine data on a connected Raymarine multifunction display and access full autopilot steering control on an IPS or Aquamatic system. Check compatible engines

Connect the ECI-100 to a terminated Seatalk NG backbone with an appropriate MFD. Follow the setup procedure.
Manual engine identification in the MFD manual (a,c,e,eS,gS). Note: Legacy MFDs cannot be used to configure multi-engine systems with individual ECIs. Note: If the ECI-100 was previously used on another engine type, you will need to reset it or use a new ECI-100. - Resetting the ECI requires a tool; contact Raymarine Product Support for further information.
Compatible Caterpillar engines
All CAT Engine installations that include engine displays, color MPD, MPD, or mini MPD. The color MPD (Marine Power Display) is compatible with all currently available electronically controlled CAT marine engines from the C7 series to the 3500 series. The MPD display is compatible with the CAT 3126B to 3500B series. Only CAT systems with individual MPDs for each engine can be supported. Engine systems without a dedicated MPD are not supported. The CAT Messenger display is not compatible or supported.
